“I’m waiting until she closes. I want to know where she lives,” Ezrah said with determination. He sat in his car and brought out his MacBook. Meeting her again, he did not expect her to make him so upset, and he lost control.
Ezrah was feeling guilty, but Lake was equally mending his own broken heart. He thought it was love at first sight, but Coco did not give him a chance to even be her friend.
“Ezrah, have you now become a stalker? Does Piper know about this?” He channeled his broken heart to taunt his best friend.
Piper left that night with Madison, and he did not even bother to check on her. If not for Piper calling the day after to check on him.
He was certain that Zora was up to something and wanted to know what exactly it was. Soon, his phone rang. It was Piper’s dad. Anxiety laced his voice.
“Ezrah, they just reduced the price even further. The few who were purchasing have all run to purchase from them. Who is this woman, and why is she doing this?” Mr. Henshaw’s voice was teary.
Their company strived over the years without any trouble, but suddenly, everything was turning downhill. The cost of producing those fragrances would not allow him to even try to compete with that new fragrance company.
Also, they were producing the same thing under the same quality. Ezrah blamed himself. This was Zora’s comeback for making her upset. That woman was something. What exactly happened to her, and how has she become so heartless?
