Michelle had a headache. Coco and River’s relationship put her emotions on a roller coaster. “Get the information to Coco. Only she can handle him,” Michelle said in annoyance, her mood destroyed.
Michelle began to address the annoyed Ezrah, at the same time Rush was sending a message to Coco. “Mr. Gannon, I apologize for not responding to your previous emails. I was attending to other businesses.”
She had already watched the CCTV footage of his conversation with Coco before getting him out of the office to climb five flights of stairs with her. Ezrah was not buying that excuse.
“You needn't have to respond to the messages yourself. Your secretary would have done it if you so instructed her. Cut the crap, Zora, where have you been?” he asked directly. She had changed so much, and he wondered what had happened to her, coupled with all the wealth she had.
The investigator had said she was an actress and a businesswoman. There was nothing about her private life, but something else caught Ezrah’s attention in the investigation report.
Michelle wanted to discuss business before personal matters. As such, she was not willing to reveal her identity until after she took her stand with the Henshaws.
“If you continue mistaking me for somebody else, we would have to call off this meeting.” Her voice and gaze were extremely cold, but Ezrah moved his head to the side.
“Tell him to get out.” He was referring to her bodyguard. Michelle refused.
