Ezrah regained himself and freed his hand from Piper’s grip. At the same time, his eyes met the woman on the red carpet. It was strange that, though her lips blossomed with a sweet smile, her eyes were very dark.
It was as if she was smiling with her lips while her eyes carried a different message. The exchange was brief as she turned her attention to the camera. There were a lot of camera flashes as she signed autographs and exchanged a few words with the woman beside her.
“I hate the paparazzi. Go with Madison. I guess she’s a fan too,” Ezrah finally said, eager to have a word with that woman. He did not want to be caught on camera with Piper, thinking it wise to take a step back.
Perhaps he’d find another way to have a conversation with that woman. His mind was in a mess right now.
Piper was displeased as she wanted to show off Ezrah in front of the media. Knowing that her annoyance would make him upset, she plastered a smile on her face before saying, “But I got the pass for us to take a picture with her.”
Ezrah couldn't help feeling something strange about the woman, and there was something about her that he couldn't figure out. Those eyes were extremely familiar, and those lips, though brightened with lipstick, made him very uneasy. That brown hair and brown eyes.
The only difference was that this woman’s hair was far longer, and she was slender and more toned. There were not many dissimilarities in the facial features, except that this woman looked prettier, her skin glowing under the lights with not much makeup. In a nutshell, she was just fabulous.
“Ezrah, the woman caught my attention too. I see why the women love her, but I’m more interested in the one with the platinum blonde hair beside her. I can’t keep my eyes off that burgundy dress,” Lake said to Ezrah’s amazement.
