“So, what if I agree to help you grasp the script? Would you still refuse the offer?”
Zora thought about the question thoroughly. This was going to stretch her as she never had a passion for acting but just decided to try it out because Coco proposed it.
Suddenly landing a major role? What if she messed up the production? As the perfectionist she was, that would kill her.
“No,” she replied over the phone. Everyone around was disappointed as they felt that she was the only deserving person there was. She saved Bianca, and her audition was great.
Bianca mused over the situation, took a deep breath before saying, “There is always a first time for everything. What if you go for the minor role and realize that you are even better than the one who took up the lead role? Trust me, you would regret it for the rest of your life.”
Zora thought once more about her revenge plan. What if something went wrong with her contract with Mr. Newman and she ended up on the losing side? At this moment, she couldn’t even contact her parents, as they had agreed to break contact for a few months to not create suspicion.
Her parents proposed that if everything went well, they would give her a call as soon as the fake funeral was over, but if not, then they would have to wait. This was the time to go beyond her limits to achieve her dream.
More money meant more power. She could as well expand her parents' business as well as set up a new one. Expanding the business was something her father wanted before; the reason why he wanted to partner with the Gannons, but Ezrah had only made a mockery of them.
