Liam was the one supervising my training today because Wilona had some business to attend to, and I was glad about it. Since he was a man, he was going to take things easy with me.
I was wrong.
I sent a kick to his face, and he blocked it with his arm, my leg coming into contact with his rock-hard body.
“Ow,” I groaned as I rubbed my leg, “What is your body made of? Titanium?”
He let out a hearty laugh that made my insides flutter and probably every other girl in the room. He was a cool, attractive guy but I was more on the dangerous bad boy side. Liam gave off the vibes of a golden retriever and that made him so much more adorable.
Speaking of bad boys, my mind immediately ricocheted to Devyn and what happened between us the other night. After he had practically yelled in my head, I passed out and by the time I was awake, I was back in my room, on my bed. It made me wonder how I got there, probably by carrying me.
Knowing how cruel Devyn was, he probably dragged me through the ground and flung me on my bed like I was nothing.
As much as I hated him, a part of me reached out to him, wanted to sympathize with him and give him solace for whatever he had been through.
