"Margallo!" Kayden called harshly. "What? I'm just speaking the truth," she said, perking up her lips and holding an innocent expression.
Ana rubbed her temple tiredly.
"Please, enough of this now. Since we're all familiar with each other, I think it's time that Margallo goes to her room and rests. She's traveled such a long distance, and I'm sure that she must be exhausted. Have a good rest and explore the castle a little; we'll talk at dinner," Ana said resignedly, probably in an attempt to stop Margallo from continuing to indirectly insult me.
"Sure. You're absolutely right, Mrs..." Margallo began and trailed off, obviously not remembering Ana's name.
"Ana," Ana said.
"Right. I've had such a long journey, so I'll just rest now. I'll see all of you later, and I'll see you too, sweetheart," she said to them before turning her attention to Kayden and kissing him on the cheek.
For me, that was the last straw. I can't take it anymore; I'm getting out of here soon, or my head will explode.
After kissing him on the cheek, she left the throne room, and as soon as she did, Elsie's smile dropped.
