Eleanor:
“The Alpha just left, and I do hope that you didn’t do anything to disrespect or upset him earlier today,” Liana said, entering the kitchen where I was waiting for the Alpha to leave. I feared cleaning and him walking out on me with barely his towel on again. Therefore, I settled on helping the girls out in the kitchen until he was gone.
“I have done nothing to upset him, Liana, you needn’t worry,” I said, and she raised an eyebrow. She didn’t respond for a few seconds before nodding at the cabinet that was behind me.
“The broom, mop, and bucket are in the cabinet behind you. I do suggest that you start cleaning up, and believe me, I will come and check to see that everything is done properly. Then you will be ironing the Alpha’s clothes. When you’re done, you will come here and help us out in the kitchen,” she said, and I nodded.
“Yes, ma’am,” I said, turning around. She didn’t say a word in response as I opened the cabinet to get the things that I wanted. I also chose to pick up a duster and a small cloth. “Are there any detergents that I will be using? Something specific that the Alpha prefers or doesn’t?”
“All the detergents here are used based on the Alpha’s preference,” she said, and I nodded.
It was a question that I knew better than to ask. Elton never liked a few detergents, and the number of times that he has beaten me up for cleaning his coffee, after HE spilled it, with lemon soap rather than the apple one that he liked, though it was one that wasn’t even available in his office when he asked me to instantly clean it, were countless. But I knew better than to ask him to go and get it. I knew that it was something that he did purposely, I just couldn’t do anything about it.
I picked up a window spray and a floor detergent and placed them inside the bucket. I picked the broom that I wanted to use and finally chose to walk out of the kitchen, following the scent toward the Alpha’s suite. The thing was, the place was spotless clean, literally, and I didn’t really know what they needed me to clean; however, I didn’t bother asking questions. I just planned to do as told, not wanting to anger or annoy anyone. The last thing that I wanted or needed was to deal with a punishment, I knew how these men punished their women, and I have had my own share of punishments; therefore, that was the last thing that I wanted to risk.
