This guy is either not reading my social cues, or he just doesn't care. I nod my head and walk over to one of the side rooms hanging more artwork, not answering his question.
"What's your name?" he asks as he brushes past someone in an attempt to keep up with me.
"Amelia," I mumble. I can't ignore him, and I'm not clever enough to think of a decent name on the spot. Especially if it turns out he and Rhodes are friends, and then I'm just being a weirdo for giving him a fake name.
"Beautiful name, fitting for such a beautiful girl. I'm Sebastian," he replies proudly. No Rhodes in this room either, but at least there are other people around; maybe he'll talk to one of them.
"What do you do, Amelia?" Sebastian asks me, despite my non-response to his previous statement.
"I'm a student."
"Lovely, what do you study?" His tone sends a chill down my spine, as he seems to be thrilled with my response. I can't quite guess his age, but I wouldn't say he's younger than Rhodes, so maybe he's in his late thirties.
"Business," I shrug, taking a large sip of my wine.
