It felt like a while ago since I trained, when I had just missed a day. I wish I could’ve missed more, to be honest. One of the reasons I always looked forward to coming here was actually because of Praya and nothing else. As much as I wanted to grow stronger, it was tiring when I had to do it almost every day.
Praya looked all flushed and happy when I saw her.
“Someone’s in an extremely good mood today,” I said as I sat beside her. She was bent to the ground as she stretched her legs. She quickly turned her head in response to my voice.
“Gina,” her face lit up as a wide grin spread across her face.
“You didn’t show up yesterday. Where were you?”
“Went somewhere with Devyn,” images of Devyn with the kids flashed into my mind and I felt the butterflies in my stomach.
“Oh, really now?” the mischievous smirk on her face hinted at something else, and I quickly shook my head.
“Remove whatever naughty thoughts you have in your head.”
