Larry
This is something I know she will like. When I first decided to take her to the flower path, I’d been so nervous to get her reaction, but with the way she’d gasped and giggled, I know that what I am about to do next will make her happy as well. In truth, I do not exactly know why I am trying way too hard for her, even though I know there can be nothing on the surface for both of us. I just know that I want to continuously hear the sound of her laughter.
And that is why I am doing this for her.
I make the phone call to her at work, and Tiffany answers immediately. She seems breathless.
“Are you okay?” I ask.
She draws in her breath and then I begin to hear a low rustling sound. She is sitting down or she is lying down, but either of these imaginings make my mouth water.
“Just a little bit tired,” she says. “And bored as well. I was getting some exercise in. Larry is still at school.”
"My parents are taking him from school today," I say to her. It's become consistent, them wanting to take him for a while, and me accepting. But it's only for a while. After the wedding, I'll want Larry to spend as much time as he can with us. For now, this is what we have.
