"What's wrong, Larry?" I asked him, concerned.
"We have a presentation at my school. I was told to bring my parents along with me, so I would want to see Dad and Tiffany as my guardians."
"Oh, what presentation is that?"
"It's a surprise, it's about game creation, and I am certain you would be excited to see it. Dad, can you please attend?" He pleaded, pouting his mouth to Mr. Larry. "I know your schedule is tight, but please make time for me."
"Okay, I will make time. When is your presentation?" Mr. Larry asked, putting his cutlery down to focus on little Larry.
"Yay! Thanks, Dad. The presentation is tomorrow, Dad," little Larry jumped with excitement. He finished his food and went to his room. I got excited for him and went to his room to tuck him into sleep. As I left little Larry's room, I was startled to see Mr. Larry standing in front of his son's door.
He held my hand and dragged me to his room. I was confused by his reaction. I pondered why he did that as he pushed me inside his room and locked the door. I got frightened, my hands trembling. I breathed in and out to calm myself and braced myself to question his action.
