King Magnus’ POV
I lay in bed, staring at the beautiful creature the Moon Goddess had destined for me. The soft rays of the morning sun peeked into the room, illuminating her flawless face. Aria's dark lashes rested against her cheeks, and her soft lips were slightly parted as she slept. Even in slumber, she had a way of stealing my breath.
I could feel her arms wrapped tightly around me, her body nestled against mine as if she couldn’t bear to let go even in her dreams. *Such a big baby,* I thought with a smirk. She looked so innocent and peaceful, a stark contrast to the fierce, fiery woman she was when awake.
A low chuckle escaped me as I tightened my hold on her. As much as I loved this quiet moment, we had a full day ahead, and she needed to wake up.
“Aria,” I murmured softly, running my hand through her silky hair. When she didn’t stir, I leaned closer and whispered into her ear, “Wake up, little wolf.”
She groaned, pulling the blanket over her head. “Five more minutes,” she mumbled, her voice muffled and laced with sleep.
I couldn’t help but laugh. “Five more minutes will turn into an hour,” I teased. “You forget we have a busy day ahead. Today’s the day we shop for your prom dress.”
That caught her attention, though not enough to make her move. She peeked out from under the blanket, her eyes half-open. “It can wait. I need sleep,” she said, her voice dripping with laziness.
