Aria’s POV
_Russia... Crimson Fangs Pack_
The Alpha of Crimson Fangs, Dimitri Volkov, paced back and forth in his dimly lit office, each step echoing his growing rage. He’d just hung up from a tense call with Beta-Lord Fergus, and his mind was racing, full of anger and worry. The Winter Moon Pack had officially cut off all their support—no supplies, no resources, no assistance. And all because of Damon Wayans.
Damon was an integral part of Crimson Fangs, managing the most lucrative, albeit illegal, aspects of their operations. He was crucial for handling the hit-and-drug businesses, but his actions had now put them all at risk. Vulnerable to enemy attacks, the Crimson Fangs Pack wouldn’t stand a chance against their rivals without the Winter Moon Pack’s support.
A dark idea started to form in Dimitri’s mind. If this was truly all Damon’s doing, why should he or his pack bear the consequences of the Lycan King’s wrath? After all, Damon was the one who’d offended Magnus, not him. What if he found a way to send Damon back to the Winter Moon Pack? If Damon’s actions were the issue, then perhaps Magnus would be appeased if he were returned.
Dimitri picked up his phone and dialed Beta-Lord Fergus again. With calm precision, he laid out his plan: he would lure Damon back to the Winter Moon Pack, disguising it as a critical assignment in their drug business. Damon wouldn’t suspect a thing, and he would be back on the Winter Moon’s land by nightfall.
There was a pause, then a low chuckle came through the line. Fergus seemed almost amused by the proposal. “An interesting solution, Alpha Dimitri,” Fergus said, clearly savoring the opportunity. “Yes, that would work quite nicely. I’ll ensure King Magnus is aware of Damon’s return and what this means for your alliance.”
Dimitri felt a smirk spread across his face. “He’ll be there by 9 p.m. tonight. I’ll handle it from my end.”
