The open door and the dark scene visible on the other side of the access seemed like a golden opportunity.
"Run, Reyne. Run!"
She could feel the voice of her wolf 'Meg' echoing inside her chest. She insisted on her with excitement lacing every inch of her voice.
Reyne lifted her cilium, her eyes found her father's face whose one eyebrow was elevated in approval. She saw his lips moving slightly like he was preparing to say something; nevertheless, Reyne never got to catch his words as she had already jumped out after turning into her wolf.
She competed with the winds. Her fur talked with ripples as she ran quicker and faster. She ran in the middle of the road like a racing car running in a race. Her feet hit the concrete hard ground, sending shockwaves right up to her brain. The feeling was awesome.
She never had a run like this before. After turning eighteen, Reyne barely got to go out. In the previous packs, she was not allowed to go out alone. Her father would accompany her while she went out for a run.
Her lungs heaved like the air was acidic and every part of her felt like it would break if she didn't stop. But Reyne was too pleased to stop. She didn't know that the word 'stop' even existed in her dictionary. She ran like it was the only thing her body distinguished.
"This is awesome!!! I love it, Reyne!" Meg squealed in pleasure, speeding up her run.
