She's not home!
So far, it was owls everyone accused of being up with wide eyes, not sleeping at all, and creatures who liked the night more than the day. But it was not just the poor birds; Ryley was too. Having partied hard in his favorite club and been kissed by many different girls, he was now returning home.
He made sure to make as little noise as he could that could be avoided by his father since he was coming back home at 1:20 am. It was not something rare, mind you, but something that was unusual on his part. Because Ryley Shine never returned home before sunrise and left for college after the first lecture was missed.
He quietly parked his car in the garage built in the back of their house. Taking a long breath into his lungs, he effortlessly entered his room through the window with the speed of light. "I am smart!" He mentally patted his own back, slurring with a spinning head. "I drank too much alcohol today. Ryley, better control yourself! Alphas don't drink too much, hmm." He warmed himself by removing his black long vampire-style collared tee, which had a red border at the circumference as well as the cuffs of his sleeves. The double collars made of the same red fabric inside the black one showed it was designed to complement his fair, lovely skin.
After a good shower, he came back, falling like a dead dog on his stomach right on the pillow. However, something was unsettling! And that was the silent house that gave him the feeling of a haunted house with no one. He could hear the breathing of the three servants sleeping in the cabinet next to their bungalow.
It was surprising to learn there was no sound coming from his parents' room. Ryley, though tired and feeling dizzy, felt the soft pillow calling him to just lay his head back on it and get lost in his world of fantasy, where he might meet a powerful mate like him and smile in his sleep.
Despite the offers his pillow made, he detached himself from the comfort of the bed and stepped out of the door, rubbing his eyes. He was drunk but not too much that he couldn't walk around in the house!
Anyway, Ryley tossed down the stairs, stumbling with his steps in the dark. He caressed his bum with a hurt look, yet got warned to keep his eyes open while walking any farther.
