Eleanor:
“So, you are Russian but you chose to live here in the US?” I asked, choosing to engage in the conversation that the Alpha and I were having.
The two of us have been sitting here together, at the small dining table, for the past hour and a half. And though I knew that I still had a few things to do, I knew that I didn’t want such a moment to end.
This has been our few moments of peace for the past few weeks now. Every day, after he was done with whatever he had to do with work, the two of us would come here together and either have dinner if he chose not to join his pack members at the dining table, or we would have coffee out here. Sometimes it would just be us walking around under the stars, but I cherished every moment that the two of us were sharing.
The man was not only gentle with me, but he was sure that I was comfortable with everything that the two of us were doing, and that was something that I held onto. The safety and security that I felt with him were ones that I never wanted to lose.
“Have you ever gone to Rome?” Alpha Killian asked and I smiled and nodded.
“I never really went around it, but I am Italian, remember?” I asked, and he chuckled.
“I am well aware that you are Italian, I just don’t know which part of Italy you are from.” He said, and I nodded in understanding.
